Do you know where the Bible says the throne of God is?
King David wrote, «But the Lord is in his holy Temple; the Lord still rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth» (you can read it in Psalm 11:4).
The prophet Isaiah wrote, «This is what the Lord says: ’Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool’ ”(you can read it in Isaiah 66:1).
The prophet Daniel also saw God sitting on His throne, “I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire, and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing mom his presence» (you can read it in Daniel 7:9, 10).
Likewise, the apostle john saw God sitting on a throne in heaven, «And instantly I was in the Spirit, and I saw a throne in heaven and someone sitting on it» (you can read it in Revelation 4:2.
According to the previous verses and many more, we know the Bible says God’s throne is in heaven and that He’s also inside a temple.
Even though we can’t see Him, God has a throne somewhere In the universe. Far beyond the atmosphere and the sky we can see. far beyond the Milky Way, which is the galaxy where we live.
But remember that one day we’ll be able to go live with Him and see His throne. He can also be everywhere. He’s always by your side!
Read today’s verse and imagine what God’s throne is like. Then write down a prayer in your Prayer Journal.
