ACCORDING to specialists in the field of psychology good thoughts are essential to enjoy good health. Our minds are where the most intense battles are fought; they are constant and hard to deal with, because they are internal and personal. Other people’s good intentions to help us often remain just there, as good intentions; but the work done by thoughts is totally individual.
Learning to think is one of the calls that the Holy Scriptures makes us. Specifically, when the apostle Paul says this in Romans 12:2: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.» We should not neglect the important task of learning to think well, because of the impact it has on mental, spiritual and physical health.
There is ¢ conflict between good and evil, between God and Satan, and our mind is the battlefield where it takes place. In order to be victorious, we should protect ourselves with “the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God. Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; «praying always»
In your daily struggle, choose to:
Trust God under every CIRCUMSTANCE.
Be confident that He keeps His PROMISES.
Rest at His feet, in prayer, when you have no STRENGTH.
Stop nominating pain and allow forgiveness to COME.
