Underline the correct answer
a. Because I’m quickly angered
b. Because I’m impatient
c. Both precious answers are correct
Do you have siblings-brothers or sisters?
Do you fight with them? If you’ve never gotten into fight with your brothers or sisters, let me congratulate you, because most siblings usually get into fights, especially when they’re young.
Normally we fight the most with the people who are closest to us and those with whom we spend a lot of time.
When we are little, we have a hard time expressing our anger.
Many children don’t know how to solve conflicts without hitting, scramming, or crying.
But as we get older, we realize it’s important not to let anger controls us, but instead to have self-control and try to reach an agreement with our brother, sister, or friend.
Try to see the problem calmly and count to ten (or to a hundred, if necessary) before answering or reacting.
Your sibling will probably be surprised and both of you will realize that the problem wasn’t so important or difficult to solve.
Jesus likes it when we are at peace with each other, because that will make us happier.
The wise Solomon wrote the proverb in today’s verse. Read it and answer these questions: Are you quickly angered or patient?
What do you like to do, start fights or calm them? What do you think is best?
Today, ask Jesus in your Prayer Journal to give you patience and love when dealing with your brother, sister, or your friends.
