I’m sure at some point you were given one and you felt very happy, but suddenly it slipped away and you felt very sad as you saw it disappear into the sky.
A German researcher named Patrick Glaschke has discovered that a well-inflated helium balloon can rise to a height of more than 33,000 feet (six miles), remain in the air more than 24 hours, and travel a distance of almost 2,000 miles.
However, in general, balloons end up bursting and becoming a bunch of shreds that fall and end up in the rivers, in the forests, on the beaches, at the bottom of the sea . . . or in the stomach of an animal, which might cause its death.
The remains of a balloon may take more than six months to disappear. In some countries, such as Australia, they are banned because they the environment and make the animals that eat them sick.
When God created man and woman, in Eden, He entrusted them to take care of everything He had created: water, plants, trees, animals . . . because our planet is our home.
That’s why we have to take care of nature and throw the remains of balloons and other garbage into the appropriate container.
Try not to let any balloons slip away. In that way, you will protect the nature that God created, and you will be happier.
Draw a balloon in your Prayer Journal and write your prayer today to take care of the planet.
