Do you know what the most famous pyramids in the world are?
There are pyramids in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru, and many other places, but the ones in Egypt are the most famous pyramids in the world.
While the people of lsrael were slaves in Egypt, the Hebrews had to do a lot of work, including building those magnificent pyramids.
More than 4,500 years have gone by and many of them are still standing. I don’t know if you have seen one, at least in a photo, but I encourage you to look up a picture of the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus in Cairo, Egypt. If you could be standing by one in person, you would be amazed at how big and astounding it is.
Each pyramid was built to preserve the body of a dead pharaoh for eternity, although you know what the Bible says about death, so of course the Egyptians were wrong.
Pyramid architects designed a great maze so if anyone managed to get in, they would never find the place where the deceased pharaoh lay with his treasures. In addition, the pyramid was planned to withstand all sorts of weather and remain standing forever. They have achieved that, don’t you think?
The pyramids in Egypt are the most famous ones but, amazingly and without having communicated with each other, throughout history there have been builders of pyramids in other places such as Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, India, China They were almost always built as tombs for kings or temples to worship false gods. The pharaohs wanted the pyramids to stand forever and for everyone to see Egypt’s greatness.
