It seems white, right? But it’s actually made up of seven colors; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple.
A beam of light has to shine through a drop of water suspended in the air after a storm so we’ll be able to see those beautiful colors.
So there has to be rain and sunshine at the same time. The drop acts as a crystal prism, that is, it reflects or reflects the direction of sunlight and breaks it up into
its seven colors, which always show up in the same order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple.
Each water drop is seen as one color and a group of waterdrops of the same color is located above a circle with that color.
When there are millions of water drops suspended in the air after a storm, a beautiful rainbow is formed.
A British scientist by the name of Isaac Newton was the one who discovered that by placing a crystal prism in such a way that the beam of light would shine through it, white light would break up into different colors.
You can try it at home or school.
And do you know who created the rainbow? That’s right, God did.
And did you know that beautiful rainbow is a reminder that there was a universal Rood and that God promised it would never rain so much that it would flood the whole earth?
How wonderful it is that our heavenly Father gave us that beautiful sign in the sky!
Draw a rainbow in your Prayer Journal and write your prayer for today inside it using rainbow colors.
