TODAY WE WILL TALK about stage women’s life many people disdainfully call the «ripe old age.» During this stage, many women’s only see women’s wrinkles, gray hair and certain sense of suffering from life’s burdens.
However, ironically, when referring to older men, people say they have a special attraction and a charm that makes them more masculine—same age, but different comments about this reality. That’s the way humans are: contradictory. Now, regarding you, dear friend, and away from what others may say or think, how do you view this stage in life? There are women who live this stage as the best and most productive years of their lives. 1 have called this time of life “the golden years,” based on the premise that, during this period, women have a precious treasure of accumulated experience, and this, not only makes us beautiful but abo wise. This accumulated treasure is worth sharing with the young women who come behind us.
It also shows out progress and personal development. If long ago, you passed the age of fifty, don’t settle for being called pre- menopausal, menopausal or postmenopausal.
What for many people is synonymous of old age and unproductiveness, for you it may be the best stage in life to become a new woman in Christ. Don’t feel like you are outside side the game of life, because you aren’t, and don’t wrap yourself in a shroud of discouragement and inactivity. This time of life can be as rich and productive as you wish with God’s help and the proper use of your abilities.
In His Word, the Lord says, “I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread” (Psalm 37:25).
A woman’s attractiveness isn’t determined by her age, but by her attitude she assumes when facing challenges that she finds along the way; by the character she has been able to develop; by the way she relates with others; by the strength and faith her presence emits.
Remember: every stage in life is a blessing and is uniquely beautiful. Do something really won while this time.
