Have you ever wondered what your body is made of? Scientists have discovered that the same elements that can be found in our body also make up our planet, Earth. In a handful of dirt you can find oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, iron, and magnesium, among others.
Surprisingly, all these elements perform an essential function for the proper functioning of our bones, our muscles, and our organs. If we were missing any of them, we couldn’t live. The Bible confirms what these scientists say. You can read it in Genesis 2:7.
The Bible says that our Creator formed the first man, who as you know was called «Adam,» from the dust of the earth.
God took mud; that is, He mixed dirt and water, and with it created man. With Lots of love and care, He shaped the face and body. The Creator made him just as He had designed him.
Imagine: there, on the earth, from which he had been formed, rested Adam’s body. But he still had no Life. There he was, mute and immobile like a statue. Then the Creator of Life blew His breath through Adam’s nose, giving him that way part of His life. At that moment, Adam opened his eyes and got up for the first time.
Now you know what you’re made of and who gave you Life.
Don’t you think your Creator is wonderful?
