You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. PSALM 32:7, NKJV
Recently, I was in the middle of Paris trying to park a car. From the street level, I could not recognize the parking garage because it looked like a regular building. Looking at the building from the street, I noticed that the windows had curtains and plants in the windows where people lived. I finally noticed a square blue sign with the letter «P» on it—the only clue to the entrance. We drove through a small opening in the building just wide enough for a car. Next, there was a gate where we took a ticket, and then the gate opened and allowed us through. To my surprise the ramp did not lead me upward; it led me down. I followed the ramp down to a previously unseen parking garage in the basement of this building. When I got there, there was a sign blocking entry into the parking area because that parking level was full. To my surprise, the ramp actually led down to another level below that one! It was like a second basement below the first basement! I followed it deeper under the ground. When I got to the next level, negative two, I discovered that one was reserved for people who worked and/or lived in the building. To my surprise, it went down another level! I was now three floors under the street level. Next, I went to a fourth, then to a fifth, then to a sixth! I finally found a parking spot six stories under the ground! You would have never known from the street.
Just as I could not see where the cars were being kept safe, JESUS has angels that we don’t see that are surrounding and protecting us right now. If you ever feel as though you’re in trouble, go to GOD and ask HIM to be your hiding place.
